It all started in 2013.
Wanting to help the local community, but in a unique and unexpected way, the Setúbal Firefighters challenged some of its members to be a part of a solidarity calendar.

Thanks to the commitment of everyone involved, the 2014 calendar was an unprecedented success story and the focus of media attention all over the country, as well as in many Portuguese communities abroad, reaching countries such as Switzerland, Brazil, USA, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Germany, Canada, Australia, France, Spain, Sweden, England, Luxembourg, among others.

It was the first time in its history that the fire department did something like this, but not the last! In 2015 there will be a new calendar, with a new perspective – the firefighters came out of the fire station, into the streets of Setúbal, and the result is a collection of amazing photographs with local backdrops, where the versatility of the firefighter profession was also captured.

For the 2015 calendar, the Setúbal Firefighters chose a very specific topic, which is close to them: male breast cancer, because it is a growing reality and not exclusively feminine.
